Wildcat Hour |
All students will have lunch at the same time and it will last 50 minutes. The students are expected to use 25 minutes for lunch and 25 minutes for academic work or clubs. You should encourage your child to bring his or her lunch for the first few days! See the Bell Schedule for further details.
The staff of Arundel High School has realized the possibilities of using a longer lunch period to allow our students to engage in more meaningful activities with teachers and other students and raising academic achievement. Teachers will now have intervention time embedded into the regular school day for tutoring, make-up assignments; HSA/SAT testing practices, basic math skill practice, writing skills, homework help, Advanced Placement support and test preparation as well as student interactions through club and activity sponsorships.
